The Congregational Life Committee is a very elastic one as its purpose is to involve as many members of the congregation as want to participate. There are three sub-committees that fall under its umbrella.
The Events Committee plans several social events during the year. Some of these activities are the Spring Tea, Newcomers Potluck, September Welcome-back BBQ, and Christmas Tea and Bazaar.
The Newcomers Committee makes a point of seeking out visitors each Sunday, welcoming them to St Giles, involving them in congregational life, and providing encouragement for them to become members.
The Funeral Committee organizes receptions, when requested, for funerals performed at St. Giles. It operates with donations from those families that avail themselves of the service.
