Choir

Music is central to worship at St. Giles and has always been an integral part of its services. St. Giles has been fortunate to have both a paid choir director and organist for several years. They lead a mixed choir of volunteers. There is a core of gifted musicians who also perform solos, both vocal and instrumental. The choir is active from September through June of each year. During that season the choir normally sings one anthem and performs other liturgical duties during        each service. In the summer months individual choir members and some          friends of St. Giles provide solo and ensemble musical pieces in lieu of the choir anthem.

The sanctuary is blessed with a Rogers three manual electronic organ and a six-foot grand piano. There is also a studio piano in the lower hall.

The musical community at St. Giles participates in outside events such as hymn sings and guest appearances in other churches.

The Choir meets on Thursday evenings at 7 pm.
