Good morning!

New beginnings provide us with hope as we reflect, plan, and take action, but life often brings surprises that can change everything. When this happens, remember that God’s love and protection are always with us, guiding us through the unexpected. Even when plans fail, His plans are greater, and He is working for our good every step of the way.

Wishing our wonderful friend, Wayne, a very Happy Birthday! We deeply appreciate you, and your dedication in taking such great care of God’s house. May your special day be overflowing with joy, love, and cherished memories. May God continue to shower you with good health, happiness, and abundant blessings all year long! Happy Birthday, Wayne!!!

Membership Class: If you are interested in learning more about becoming a member of our church family, whether you’re new to our congregation or have been attending for a while, we invite you to our upcoming Membership Class. The class will be held every Thursday evening in February (6th, 10th & 17th). We look forward to welcoming you and supporting you in your faith journey!

AFTERNOON SERVICES: For those who are unable to attend morning services, there is an afternoon study and prayer at 1:30PM every Sunday at St. Giles led by Rev. Chandra.

January 12th, The First Sunday after Epiphany: This Sunday, our worship will be led by our minister, Chandra, and our music leader, Michael, with the St. Giles Choir. The Bible readings for this week are Isaiah 43:1-7, Acts 8:14-17, and Luke 3:15-17, 21-22. These passages remind us of God’s unwavering love, the gift of the Holy Spirit, and our identity as His beloved children. Take heart in knowing that the same God who declared Jesus as His beloved also calls you His own. Find peace in that love, and let it inspire your faith and daily life.

SCRIPTURE PASSAGE FOR REFLECTION:
Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.”
Isaiah 43: 1b-2
