Good morning!

Every day offers us the opportunity to plant seeds of kindness, patience, and encouragement. A smile, a helping hand, or a gentle word may seem small, but these simple acts can grow into hope and joy for someone who needs it most. Even when the journey feels tiring, remember that the smallest seed can grow into a mighty tree, and God’s strength is always with us to help us keep going. Don’t forget—your small acts of love matter more than you know.

On a sad note, Audrey Harms passed away on June 17. St. Giles extends prayers, love, and deepest sympathies to her family. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 28 at 2:00 PM at St. Giles.

Today, July 6 at 11:00 AM
Yeehaw! It is Stampede Pancake Breakfast time again. Put on your cowboy duds and plan on staying for pancakes and sausages after the service.  Bring your family and friends.

Rev. Chandra Appointed Interim Moderator at Centennial Church
Rev. Chandra has been named the Interim Moderator of Centennial Church. She will be supporting them in their time of being without a minister, moderating their session, providing leadership as they step into preparations of seeking a minister, and will occasionally perform funerals, baptism and occasional preaching. Please hold Centennial Church and Reverend Chandra in your prayers as we support them during this transition and transformation time.

Card Tables Needed
Do you have a card table at home that you would like to donate to St. Giles? Or…please watch for them as you browse Garage Sales this summer. Thanks for your help!

Evening Bible Study postponed until July 14
Our weekly Bible Study will resume on Monday, July 14 at 7:00 PM. We invite you to join us as we gather in Confederation Park to read scripture and connect with one another and our neighbours in the beauty of the outdoors.

BIBLE STUDY: Every Wednesday at 10:15 AM

AFTERNOON SERVICESFor those who are unable to attend morning services, there is an afternoon study and prayer at 1:30PM every Sunday at St. Giles led by Rev. Chandra.

July 6 – 4th Sunday after Pentecost: Our minister, Reverend Chandra, is away this week. We are pleased to welcome Reverend Fiona Swanson, who will be leading us in worship, together with Malcolm Edward, our choir director. This week’s Scripture readings are from Galatians 6:7-10, and Luke 10: 1-11, 16-20. These passages remind us that following Christ means faithfully doing good and sharing His message, even in the face of hardship or rejection. We are called to persevere in sowing spiritual seeds, trusting that God will bring a harvest in His time. Our greatest joy comes not from visible results, but from knowing that our names are written in heaven.

SCRIPTURE PASSAGE FOR REFLECTION:
“The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields. Now go, and remember that I am sending you out as lambs among wolves.”
Luke 10:2-3
