St. Giles Presbyterian Church is looking for a permanent part-time Office Administrator
The position provides a warm reception, ensures regular communication and fulfills a range of duties critical to the administrative operations and the vibrant Christian life at St. Giles.
Roles, Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Reception and hospitality
- Communication of St. Giles’ activity through emails, the website, Facebook page, and other means, maintaining related Domain names and licenses
- Manage booking of church spaces for internal and outside users
- Handle church mail
- Maintain church records and the church calendar of events
- Prepare PowerPoint presentation and bulletin for weekly worship service
Gifts, Skills, Experience and Qualities:
- High School graduate or equivalent and relevant experience
- Strong organizational skills; self-directed; takes initiative
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 – PowerPoint/Excel/Word
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills
