Office Administrator

St. Giles Presbyterian Church is looking for a permanent part-time Office Administrator

The position provides a warm reception, ensures regular communication and fulfills a range of duties critical to the administrative operations and the vibrant Christian life at St. Giles.

Roles, Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Reception and hospitality
  • Communication of St. Giles’ activity through emails, the website, Facebook page, and other means, maintaining related Domain names and licenses
  • Manage booking of church spaces for internal and outside users
  • Handle church mail
  • Maintain church records and the church calendar of events
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentation and bulletin for weekly worship service

Gifts, Skills, Experience and Qualities:  

  • High School graduate or equivalent and relevant experience
  • Strong organizational skills; self-directed; takes initiative
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 – PowerPoint/Excel/Word
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills
