Good morning!
Easter Sunday is a time of great joy, celebrating Jesus’ victory over death following the solemnity of Good Friday and Maundy Thursday. After reflecting on His sacrifice, we rejoice in the hope and new life He brings through His resurrection. Let us embrace the new life we have in Christ and share that joy with everyone around us.

April 20th, EASTER Sunday: This Sunday, we are led in worship by Chandra our minister, by our St. Giles choir, and by Malcolm Edwards, our new music leader. This week’s Bible readings—Acts 10:34–43, 1 Corinthians 15:1–11 (selected verses), and John 20:1–18—invite us to reflect on the heart of the Easter message. Jesus’ resurrection is a powerful reminder that God’s love and salvation are offered to everyone, regardless of background or status. It affirms the very foundation of our faith and reveals the depth of God’s grace, even for the most unlikely of believers. Like Mary Magdalene at the empty tomb, may we recognize the risen Christ calling us by name and, with joyful hearts, proclaim, “I have seen the Lord!”
SCRIPTURE PASSAGE FOR REFLECTION:
“Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!”
And she told them the things he had said to her.”
John 20:18
