Good morning!

After several chilly days, the warm sun shines again, bringing light and comfort to everything around us. Just as the sun melts the cold, love and forgiveness can soften even the hardest hearts. Let us choose kindness over hatred and allow our warmth brighten the lives of others.

Presbytery Survey: This is a reminder to complete the survey from the Presbytery of Calgary-Macleod intended to gather feedback on how congregations are doing and ask what presbytery could do to support them. Sandra will have a few printed copies for those who do not have computer access.  The deadline is February 28.

Here’s the link for the survey:

February 23rd, The Seventh Sunday after Epiphany: This Sunday, our worship will be led by Rev. Rod, and our music leader, Michael, with the St. Giles Choir. The Bible readings for this week—1 Corinthians 15:35-38, 42-50; Luke 6:27-38; and Genesis 45:3-11,15—speak of transformation. They show how God changes what is broken, weak, or ordinary into something glorious and full of life. These passages reveal how God’s love calls us to a new way of being, both in this life and in the life to come.

SCRIPTURE PASSAGE FOR REFLECTION:
He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8
