Good morning!
This week, as summer begins with rainfall and grey skies, we’re reminded that not every new season starts with sunshine. When our thoughts feel heavy and life doesn’t seem to make sense, it’s okay to slow down, pause, and simply breathe. Just like Jesus helped the man who felt lost and broken, He is ready to meet us today, bring healing, and give us a fresh start—reminding us that even on the cloudiest days, our spirits can be renewed with hope and light.
Chris Browne give thanks to God for her health and wish to thank St. Giles family for the special celebration of her birthday.

Rev. Chandra Appointed Interim Moderator at Centennial Church
Rev. Chandra has been named the Interim Moderator of Centennial Church. She will be supporting them in their time of being without a minister, moderating their session, providing leadership as they step into preparations of seeking a minister, and will occasionally perform funerals, baptism and occasional preaching. Please hold Centennial Church and Reverend Chandra in your prayers as we support them during this transition and transformation time.
Evening Bible Study postponed until July 14
Our weekly Bible Study will resume on Monday, July 14 at 7:00 PM. We invite you to join us as we gather in Confederation Park to read scripture and connect with one another and our neighbours in the beauty of the outdoors.
AFTERNOON SERVICES: For those who are unable to attend morning services, there is an afternoon study and prayer at 1:30PM every Sunday at St. Giles led by Rev. Chandra.
Morning Bible Study: Every Wednesday at 10:15 AM
June 22nd – 2nd Sunday after Pentecost: This Sunday, we are ledby our minister Reverend Chandra, our choir director Malcolm Edwards, and by our St. Giles Choir. This week’s Scripture reading are from Psalm 42:1–5, Galatians 3:23–29, and Luke 8:26–39. These passages remind us that no matter what we’re going through—whether we feel empty, uncertain of our place, or stuck in darkness—God sees us, loves us, and invites us into healing and hope. He gives us a new identity, a new community, and the strength to walk forward in faith.
SCRIPTURE PASSAGE FOR REFLECTION:
For we are all sons and daughters of the Great Spirit through our trust in Jesus, the Chosen One.”
Galatians 3:26, FNVNT
