Good morning!
In life, we all face closed doors—missed chances, changed plans, or unexpected setbacks. But these moments aren’t failures; they are often God’s way of guiding us to something better. When things don’t go as planned, it may be the Holy Spirit leading us in a new direction. So come and join us this Sunday as we discover how God’s guidance can turn detours into blessings.

BIBLE STUDIES: Every Monday at 7 PM and every Wednesday at 10:15 AM—both with Rev. Chandra
AFTERNOON SERVICES: For those who are unable to attend morning services, there is an afternoon study and prayer at 1:30PM every Sunday at St. Giles led by Rev. Chandra.
May 25th, Fifth Sunday of Easter: This Sunday, we are led in worship by a very welcome guest, the Reverend Doctor Jean Morris, as well as our minister, Reverend Chandra, our choir director, Malcolm Edwards, and our St. Giles Choir. This week’s Scripture reading is from Acts 16:1-15. This passage reveals how God’s Spirit guides His people—even through unexpected detours—to fulfill His purposes. Paul’s obedience leads to the conversion of Lydia, whose open heart and hospitality beautifully reflect the transformative power of the Gospel. It reminds us to trust God’s direction and to respond with faith, openness, and generosity.
SAVE THE DATE: St. Giles Orchestra – Saturday June 21st
SCRIPTURE PASSAGE FOR REFLECTION:
May God be gracious to us and bless us
and make his face to shine upon us.
May God continue to bless us;
let all the ends of the earth revere him.
Psalm 67:1 &7
