Good afternoon!

God often surprises us with unexpected blessings. In our lowest moments—when we are weary and overwhelmed—He meets us right where we are and provides exactly what we need. When we choose to trust and surrender, His grace sustains us. Just like the weather that can shift several times a day, God can turn our struggles into victories. And indeed, after every storm, He brings sunshine—or even a beautiful rainbow—to remind us that hope and light are never far away.

Today at 11:30 Speaker Series #5 in the Park Room: Have you ever wondered what or who is Presbytery? Wonder no more! Join God’s Gardening Team

Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. Genesis 2: 8

No experience necessary, just a willingness to “tend the church gardens”. Speak with Susan C or Cathy B if you are interested.

AFTERNOON SERVICES: For those who are unable to attend morning services, there is an afternoon study and prayer at 1:30PM every Sunday at St. Giles led by Rev. Chandra.

May 4th, Third Sunday of Easter: This Sunday, we are led in worship by Chandra our minister, by our St. Giles choir, and by Malcolm Edwards, our new music leader. This week’s Bible readings—John 21:4–14, Revelation 5:5–10, and Acts 9:1–20—remind us that God meets us where we are, whether we’re weary like the disciples or misguided like Saul. In every situation, Christ offers grace, restoration, and purpose. He doesn’t wait for us to have it all together—He calls us in our brokenness and transforms us for His mission. No matter our past, we are never beyond His reach or His plans.

SCRIPTURE PASSAGE FOR REFLECTION:
“When they had gone ashore, they saw a charcoal fire there, with fish on it, and bread.  Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish that you have just caught.” John 21:9-10
